The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is found on the 3rd floor of Aretaeio Hospital. It has 11 beds, 2 fully equipped labour rooms, 10 baby cots and 2 fully equipped incubators. The friendly and well-trained staff of the Department is always on hand for the best physical and psychological support of the pregnant woman and the patients in general throughout their stay.
The Department supports and promotes natural birth and maternal breastfeeding with the help of midwives in combination with well-equipped labour rooms and breastfeeding rooms located on our premises.
